Good Lock : Custom Lock Screen

Good Lock is a custom lock screen app for Android.
Combine aesthetic wallpapers with clock, calendar, schedule, memo and music widgets to build your own lock screen theme, and open apps, bookmarks, memos and contacts straight from the lock screen.

First released on March 15, 2015, Good Lock has been built and run by a single independent developer for 11 years.
Every feature is free, and no account sign-up is required.
The lock screen and Mini Home carry no ads; ads appear only on the settings pages.

📜 Since 2015 - An 11-Year Journey as the Original Independent Good Lock

- You may see it written as Good Lock, GoodLock or Goodlock.
The official name is “Good Lock” - a blend of “Good” and “lock screen”.
Your phone starts at the lock screen, so the name also wishes you good luck each day.

- Since another service with the same name arrived in March 2016, Good Lock is sometimes confused with it.
In fact it started a year earlier and has been operating independently the whole time.

- Progress slowed for a while due to budget and resource limits.
Lately I have used the latest AI tools to improve system stability and lock screen UI performance myself.

- There is no flashy marketing here - just a lone developer’s persistence.

Good Lock is a “lock screen cover” that lays over your existing lock screen, so your fingerprint, PIN or pattern lock keeps working.
It does not replace or change your phone’s security system.

[Required Permission]
- Display over other apps (Overlay): required to show the lock screen and run the service without interruption.

[Optional Permissions]
- Contacts: to import contacts into Mini Home
- Music and Audio: to load local music files for the music widget
- Calendar: to display your Google Calendar schedule
- Notifications: to create a status notification bar

* Optional permissions are requested only when you use the matching feature.
If you decline, every other feature still works normally.

* You can change permissions any time in Settings > Apps > Good Lock > Permissions.

[Privacy]
- With no account sign-up, Good Lock does not collect personal data such as your name or email address.
- The contacts permission is used only when you add a contact to Mini Home; that data is never sent to or stored on a server.
- What you set up and write stays on your phone and is removed when you uninstall the app.
- To keep the app free, it includes ads. Ad providers may collect your device’s advertising ID for ad delivery.
