Nevertales: The Abomination places you in the role of Anea, a young spellcaster, living in a land created from the imagination of real people. Your mentor is the most powerful mage of Inspiria, yet not even her can stand against the Abomination, a rising force of darkness and destruction. With the last of her power, she sends her best student, you, to visit the realm’s creator, a writer known only as Ballard, and ask for help.
Much to your surprise, Ballard is not the least bit interested in helping. In fact, to Anea’s horror, the Abomination is none other than a terrifying manifestation of Ballard’s personal destructive urges. With terror, you watch as the creator had turned against his own creation. You have to fight it, but it isn’t going to be easy. Also, saving the world is bad enough. Can you save four?
